As a traveler always on the lookout for hidden gems, Brown Cow Cottage in Dalton in Furness was a delightful find for me. Situated just a stone's throw away from Carlisle Lake District, the location was perfect for exploring the stunning surroundings. the private parking available onsite was a convenient perk, especially for someone like me who prefers to have a car for spontaneous adventures. the cottage itself was a little Tardis, surprisingly spacious and well-equipped with thoughtful touches like Bread, Milk, Butter, eggs & cereal provided - a true home away from home. the cleanliness and attention to detail were evident throughout, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining kitchen that led to the garden, creating a perfect sociable space for meals or simply unwinding with a cup of tea. the cosy atmosphere, lovely decor, and the 2 lovely bathrooms added to the charm of the cottage. My furry companion, just like the spaniels mentioned in the database, loved the space and the dog-friendly garden, which made our stay even more pleasant. the massive helpings of seriously tasty home-made dishes and the exceptional service truly stood out. It's not every day you find such caring hospitality that leaves you wanting to come back for more. If you're looking for a cozy retreat in the Lake District with a touch of warmth and charm, this hidden gem is the place to be.
